Portraits from Landscape of Emotions : This collection of photographs is the result of a workshop I attended called Landscape of Emotions Master Class with Manny Librodo. It was a pleasure to meet Manny and learn some shooting and image processing techniques. I enjoyed spending time with all of the photographers, crew and models. Lake Forest Calendar : These are some images shot in Lake Forest during the past year for the 2010 Lake Forest Calendar Contest. Femme Metale : This gallery is from a video project I worked on with Leslie Homan, long time friend and owner/designer of Femme Metale silver jewelry. Products are targeted to the Rocker and Goth crowd. I was asked to edit a promotional video from a concept she created. Quite different than my usual editing work, the concept and theme certainly make for interesting video and stills. My talented friend Mike Uribe was the Director of Photography and shot the HD video. I was on the shoot to take stills and come up with suggestions to use during the post production process and editing. I designed and edited the final video which you can see as the first clip in the gallery below. Thanks to all who participated to make this video possible.

Mariachi Festival : Photos from "Battle of the Bands" at Mission San Juan Capistrano, CA. June 13th, 2009. A very colorful event and competition of the Latin culture. The bands this year were required to be ages 18 or under. There were many talented performers.

At the Mission : These photos are from the "Battle of the Bands" Mariachi Festival June 13th, 2009 at Mission San Juan Capistrano. I shot so many photos that day that I decided to break them up into two sets. One of the festival, and one of images from the Mission. Since there were so many people there, wide shots were just filled with crowd. I concentrated on close-ups to hopefully capture some of the unique and possibly overlooked details found there.

CSI Lake Forest : Always take your camera with you. These are photos of the Wachovia bank in Lake Forest, CA just after it was robbed on April 9th 2009. I happened to have my Canon DSLR with me. I shot some photos and sent them to the OC Register for fun, and to see if they would use them. They were posted on the OC Register web site along with the story hours later. (Guess it must have been a slow news day) The thief dropped the money bag in the parking lot and ran, after the red dye pack exploded all over the money.
